What Is White Tea?

White tea (Camellia Sinensis) almost exclusively comes from Fujian Province in China and is so-named because of the silver coloured hairs on the unopened bud.

These buds are harvested for only a few days each year shortly before they fully open, thus making this a very rare & exclusive tea. It is the least processed of all teas; the leaves are merely air dried before being packaged.
